Travel: Drive SF to SEA 6/10

Currently sitting at SEA on the way to SFO as I am posting this very special trip back in June. Probably the most fun I have had in SF in awhile considering my few last trips but definitely the shortest. We flew in, did the damn thing, and had managed to see some really amazing people that made an effort to hang out and made me remember who my Cali family are. (Gotta give props to my Samoan sister Crystal for making a three hour drive down to SF to see me with two babies…I love you, it meant the world to see ya’ll)

Two days later, we drove in a Penske moving truck…to Sactown…then a straight shot from Sac to Sea. I drove for eight hours and Eric drove for eight hours. Then a little before 2am when we finally arrived home (in which the last three hours was the most painful and asking myself and Eric why we didn’t stop in Oregon as I tried creative ways to lay down), I found out what other parts of the I-5 looked like, experience the gas pumpers and Italian food in Oregon, had a few great nights in the bay and Sac, rode the open rode and had an amazing time while getting the damn thing done.

Travel: Canada 6/10

First time in Canada.

The subtle differences of another country are so easily observed when you are looking for them.

Olympic Flame, something like a mini LA at one point, obnoxious Porsche and Lambo drivers, signs in French, use of km on the speedometer, more Japanese and Korean restaurants on one block then all of Seattle, seeing someone shoot up in broad day light, people who were actually super excited to see Americans and everywhere, including the trash cans, proclaiming B.C.’s beauty.

I will be coming back.

Travel: SF 4/10

I was told these were in demand. I’ve been getting on planes, but the .com has not gotten any travel love recently. I guess it should since I have no new paintings to post for you which I promise will change.

How many times to I have to SF a year? Plenty. When is it just for fun? Barely ever. But the glimpses of fun I do get to have thanks to my many fam down there are captured here.

This time it’s done differently, no order or captions.

Thanks for reading and those who do. Everyone now seems to have a .com or tumblrtweetblog. I hope mine is still entertaining. I am wondering if I have the blog art down.
